HAPPY NEW YEAR 🎉 BVDA would like to take this opportunity to wish all their members and family a very Happy New Year. At the Academy we are all very excited for 2018 with lots of exciting things planned for our students in the coming months. This year BVDA has produced 8 shows and was part of the inaugural Music Theatre International’s Broadway Junior project in the Curve theatre in Leicester, The Academy’s Showchoir performed at the National showchoir championships in New York On BROADWAY were they placed 3rd. The Junior members of the Academy performed Annie in London’s WESTEND at Her Majesty’s Theatre. Students at the Academy have benefited from workshops with industry professionals such as Westend directors Lotte Wakeham, Steven Dexter, and Racky Plews, as well as iTheatrics’ founder Timothy Allen McDonald. Pupils have also excelled in their Abrsm, LCM and New Era examinations all achieving top marks. Thank you to everyone who has been part of making 2017 a fantastic year.
