TS Churchill Ashford Sea & Royal Marines Cadets
Description
Ashford Sea & Royal Marines Cadets gives 10 to 18 year olds a better start in life through maritime activities, based on the customs of the Royal Navy.
TS Churchill (Ashford Sea & Royal Marines Cadets) is part of “The Sea Cadet Corps”. This is a UK national youth organisation which is sponsored by the Royal Navy (MOD senior service) and open to young people between the ages of 10–18 years old. The SCC is the UK's largest Naval Cadet Force. Cadets follow similar rates and ranks, traditions, values and ethos of their parent service, the Royal Navy & Royal Marines. Whilst the SCC is not a pre-service organisation, many former Sea Cadets and Royal Marines Cadets do go on to join the Armed Forces. HM The Queen and HRH the Prince of Wales are the Patrons of the Sea Cadet Corps and HRH the Duke of York is the Admiral of the Sea Cadet Corps.
