This morning in our construction zone we had Santa's workshop and the children were busy elves making presents.

Today we enjoyed a festive lunch with crackers! All the children are very excited for Christmas, we have been singing all day!

Tomorrow Friday 15th is the last day of term and we return on Thursday 4th January. Have a wonderful Christmas everyone and best wishes for the new year.

What an amazing nativity today at Mersham little Stars. The children were amazing and everyone worked so hard. Thank you to the parents for providing costumes and for coming along and thank you to the staff at Mersham for organising a lovely show. Photos to follow....

The children have been so excited by the snow falling today, we made gloop and added glitter, and also got out the snow tray! Its been so wet outside that the snow has t settled but we enjoyed reading the 'ten snowflakes' story whilst watching it fall!

Today we walked up the hill to the school and joined in their Sparkles morning. The children met some of the pupils from the school and made decorations. Back at the nursery we had the snow out and we had fun trying to find the penguins and polar bears that were biding. We explored construction in teams and also enjoyed playing games. Please remember your child's costume for Thursday and keep practising the songs 🎅👍

This morning we had snow sensory on the tuff tray. The children really enjoyed looking for the winter animals hiding in the snow.

Christmas decorations are busy being made, we have started with cone decorating to take pride of place on your Christmas tree!

The children were so excited because it snowed this morning! We had a look at the snowflakes that landed in our flower pot, we used magnifying glasses to look closely! We looked up snowfall on the kindle and watched a huge snow flurry.

Freezing temperatures..... We are in a very large hall that takes time to heat. Can parents please dress children in warm clothing for indoor play. We will be spending time outside every day. Children will need a warm coat,hat,gloves and scarves please. If you place them inside the arm of your child’s coat on arrival to help staff dress them appropriately. Many thanks Abigail
