What a terrific weekend, memories were made! Salon reopens on Tue as per usual business hours. Welcome to Kirsten Mate Maher on becoming the 2018 Waterford Rose.
Just a reminder to clients that the salon will be closed this coming Friday and Saturday due to the Waterford Rose of Tralee selection. There's still appointments available for tomorrow and Thur morning if you'd like to get a treatment before the weekend.

Vicki Walshe began training in Beauty Therapy in the WCFE in September 2010 having made the decision to leave her full-time job in the financial sector. In her first year she was voted Class Rep and from there, the Student Council then elected her and one other student, Student Representatives on the Board of Management. After completing her first year exams, Vicki was awarded Student of the Year. In second year her class mates again voted her Class Rep. Whilst training in Beauty Therapy, the chosen product the students used was Matis Paris. Matis visited the WCFE and awarded Vicki Matis Student of the Year which gave her the opportunity to fly to Paris, visit their headquarters and enjoy an all expenses paid trip! Conculding the second year of training, she also won CIDESCO Thesis of the Year which she based on Threading hair removal. She now specializes in threading and teaches it. Before opening her own salon Natural Beauty in 2015, Vicki worked in Aura Beauty, Bay Spa Tramore and Mulligans Pharmacy. "Having my own salon is what I have always aimed for and I'm very happy to reach a goal and contiue to try better myself. I have a personal passion for consistent development and maintaining of high standards within the beauty industry and I aim to please my clients always in every way that I can. After all, without loyal clients, I wouldn't be here" says Vicki after being voted WLRfm Waterford's Best Beauty Therapist last year. As well as building the business, she is also the Waterford Rose of Tralee Co-ordinator, now looking for the 2018 Waterford Rose. And Beauty Columnist to monthly magazine My Waterford giving hints, tips and all kinds of beauty advice to the South East.
