FEEL THE FEAR AND DO IT ANYWAY.......... Any time we feel we want to do something different or make a change in our lives, the only thing that really stops us is a four letter word...FEAR! There are loads of fears in all of our lives daily. Some of the bigger ones can appear to be like the fear of leaving an unhappy relationship or the fear of leaving a job we hate, but the smaller ones can have exactly the same affects, right down to choosing something for lunch from the same menu in the same restaurant you eat in every single day!!!! You might say there is no comparison between these different types of Fears, but if you look at the common factor between them there actually is, because we fear moving on from that which is familiar.We become slaves to habits, patterns and realities that do not serve us and in fact hurt us.Sometimes no matter how much we want it, talk about needing it, and promise to initiate it, the reality is that change is absolutely terrifying to most of us. So what do we do? We feel the fear and do it anyway. Many people are scared to fly but do it because the joy of arriving at the desired destination is worth the struggle. So just like any fear in our lives the outcome is worth the flight to get there.We all have the power to walk away from the things that are damaging our lives and yes change is scary and hard. It has to be. It carries with it the potential to revolutionize our lives in ways you will never truly realise until safely on the other side of our fears. Rather than fear change lets start to embrace it and revel in it. Look at the things you want to change in your life and one by one with baby steps start to make those changes. NOW is the time to dive in and make some changes. If you cant dive, that is ok. Tip toe, take baby steps and crawl if you have to. Just keep moving forward no matter what. I have found that its so much more exciting (but still scary) to be the one making the changes in My life. We are in control of our lives and the choices we make.
