Open as usual tomorrow- bright and early at 7.45am!

Dear Parents, Due to safety concerns arising from the snow/ice, we will stay closed tomorrow, Friday 2nd March. This follows the elevation to RED STATUS of the @MetEireann weather warning for the West of Ireland and the National Emergency Coordination group requesting the public to be indoors from 4pm today until 3pm tomorrow. SNOW❄️☃️ Great fun here today at Spraoi!! Nothing stopping us from getting out and enjoying the little snow we got this morning..☃️ Our preschoolers even built a mini snowman⛄️❄️

GIRAFFES🦒 Our Giraffes recently learned about Numbers, counting, recognizing them and putting them in order. We enjoyed working on our own and in small groups. Not only were we counting in english, we also did it in Irish and Spanish. We will add little by little more numbers in our favourite way：playing while we are learning :-)

It may be early but we are planning ahead for our new preschool year! The new increased eligibility for the ecce (free preschool) year means that if your child was born between 01/04/2015 and 31/12/2015 they will be eligible to start preschool in September 2018. Due to the huge demand for places we are enrolling now for September 2018. Don’t forget if your child is already three or will turn three before April 1st 2018 they will be eligible to start preschool in April 2018! Some gorgeous ideas for little ones!

Our ladybirds recently learned about"our world" and we were talking about the planet Earth and how we are all from different parts of the globe! We were colouring our flags and doing our planet Earth made of shaving foam and paint . Also we did our handprints in our butterflies around the world poster.

Our Lions are doing some stretches today ahead of Stretch N Grow with Helen, one of our favourite times in the week..🤸‍♀️🏋🏻‍♀️
