Description
Holy Family National School is a small rural school nestled in the tranquil village of Templetuohy..
Established in 1985, the school is steeped in history and has witnessed many changes over the 30 years it has served the community. The school has retained the traditional exterior appearance with the addition of our large nature Mural which very much compliments its setting.
Adjacent to the school is the newly set up preschool Temple Tots where Afterschool club takes place from 12-6pm.
Holy Family N.S. seeks to provide an appropriate education for all the pupils of our school by providing a caring learning environment which facilitates the nurturing of each child’s educational potential.

What a busy day in Holy Family NS. The pupils dressed up, sang and danced for Brian and Lorraine from Tipp Fm to celebrate "Festive Fun" Day. The staff and pupils raised €100 for a great cause, the Tipperary branches of the Red Cross. Also well done to Temple tots on their Nativity play today. We were all busy rehearsing for Tuesday night's Christmas Concert!
Tomorrow the school along with Temple Tots Preschool will be taking part in Tipp Fms "Festive Friday" Staff and children will wear festive gear tomorrow to school while also raising money for the Tipperary branches of the Irish Red Cross. Tipp Fm have informed the school that they will be hopefully stopping by to see the children in their festive gear. Pictures to follow.

On behalf of the staff and pupils of the Holy Family N.S. we would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the Fogarty family. Laurena, Callum, Layla Jane, Bridget, Richie, Shane and all extended family you are in our thoughts and prayers at this sad time. Busy preparing for our Christmas Concert on Tuesday 20th December today ! Great fun dancing and singing !
A Fantastic day was had today at the Supertroopers Trip to Supervalu. All children got to meet with the butcher the baker and the dietitian. They got a tour of the store, sampled some fresh fruit and veg and received goody bags full with healthy options at the end. Many thanks to the staff of Supervalu Rathdowney for welcoming us and making the day enjoyable. Also Mrs Meehans class got to visit the park on the day. Photos uploaded of the day.
