facebook.comThis month theme is all about the zoo. We discussed what kind of animals are in the zoo. The two favorite zoo animals are the tigers and the monkeys. This week the children did some lovely tigers and this morning they started their peacocks. They really enjoying this theme.🐘🦏🐧
The Long Rods Well done to all the children who are working very hard at the Long Rods The direct purpose of the Long Rods is visual discrimination of difference in dimensions (length), in particular muscular memory of length. This inturn is a direct preparation for mathematis. Any parent wishing to find out more about the Long Rods or how there child is progressing with this piece of Montessori Material. Please speak with your child's Key Worker and they can let you know how there progressing.

All the staff at lough na paisti would like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy new year☺️ Preschool and after school will reopen on Monday 8th January 2018. We look forward to seeing you all then and to hear what lovely presents all the children got.
The preschoolers were so busy yesterday and today cooking. They made yummy sweets yesterday and today they made top hats. Yum yum

Look who decided to sneak into preschool today!! It was one of our preschoolers elf on the shelf and he decided to cause some mayhem.
This morning our preschoolers were busy making candy canes using theirs thumbs. They had loads of fun this morning.
The preschoolers were also super busy painting their Christmas stockings. Lots more fun for them tomorrow.
