Description
Singing and music theory lessons in Limerick city and county taught by Laura O'Sullivan, an experienced and highly qualified teacher and dramatic soprano. My name is Laura O'Sullivan. Based in the Rathkeale/Newcastle West area, I teach a range of musical genres including folk, jazz, classical, pop and musical theatre to students of all ages throughout Limerick city and county. As a mucisian with dyslexia, I have a unique insight into alternative learning styles and the individual needs of my students. I teach students who want to sing for pleasure as well as those taking the Junior and Leaving Certificate exams and studying for exams with the ABRSM, RIAM, LCM and TCM.
As a dramatic soprano I enjoy singing arias from the big operas and my repetoire includes Puccini, Verdi, and German Lieder. I sing in French, German, Italian, English, Russian, Latin, Spanish and Czech. I play piano as well as classical guitar

I'm delighted to announce that I'm now offering short music courses to primary schools! Having previously worked in schools doing demonstrations and classical music courses, I'm now expanding to include courses in Musical Genres, Irish Music, The Great Composers, Opera and the Orchestra and Musical Theatre. All courses cover key elements of the Music curriculum, while also linking in with other areas such as English, Maths, SPHE, History, etc.
