100% from everyone tonight.
Guy's i'd like to start a thread based around where to buy training gear. We've had a lot of questions from people about what equipment they need for training and more importantly where to get it so rather than seeing people going out and wasting money on crap gear have a look at the links below. Feel free to add a link to a good product or if you see a bargain. Suppliers feel free to advertise in this post. (Anything not related to the post will be deleted).

It’s pretty obvious but just incase you didn’t know here are some of the reasons why you should train mixed martial arts. Building Self Confidence Mixed martial arts training will build your self confidence. And it’s not just because you will learn how to defend yourself against an aggressor. Training in the martial arts will expose yourself to challenging situations that will prompt you to perform at your best. You will also learn to focus and perform under pressure; things that will go in handy when you step out of the gym. Discipline Training in the mixed martial arts will also teach you self-discipline. As with any sport, martial arts require discipline. You will learn to discipline yourself, particularly in training, sleeping, and eating right. Mixed martial arts training will also teach you how to control your emotions and impulses. Moreover, training in Mixed martial arts discourages too much talking or goofing around. Goal Setting The belt ranking system of martial arts like jiu-jitsu/kickboxing can encourage you to work towards the achievement of a goal. Naturally, you would want to improve your skills and knowledge of the martial art you are into. This would push you to move from being a white belter (the lowest rank) to being possibly a black belter. Excellent physical workout. Sparring (Boxing practice during training) or grappling (wrestling or ground-fighting practice) for 3-5 minute rounds is absolutely brutal cardio, which is why fighters are usually in top notch physical condition. There is no treadmill or stair-master in the world that can beat the benefits of sparring. Stress reliever. Training martial arts releases aggression. After an hours session of training, when you are completely drenched in sweat, and tired, ready for a big meal and sleep there can be no more room for stress. Self Defense One of the main reasons why people want to learn mixed martial arts is to be able to learn self defense techniques. We live in very uncertain times when at time you could find yourself in a situation where you need to defend yourself. When you undergo mixed martial arts training you will learn how to remain calm and either diffuse the situation or if necessary protect yourself. Giving It Your All When you train in mixed martial arts, you will be required to give your all on a consistent basis. You’ll be asked to kick a little higher or punch a little stronger. There’s no such thing as half-hearted effort when you train in karate, kickboxing, or jujitsu. This would teach you to never accept less from yourself, and to give 100% effort in everything you do—even outside the gym. Respect/Loyalty Finally, training in mixed martial arts will teach you the value of respect/loyalty. You will be taught to respect your co-students and instructors. You’ll be trained to control yourself so you can avoid fights, whenever necessary. Now that you’ve learned the many virtues that mixed martial arts training can teach you, call in to any of our classes at Cill Dara Mixed Martial Arts. All classes are beginner friendly. You could be on your way to becoming a more well-rounded individual when you start training in the mixed martial arts.
