We’ve come to take daytime running lights for granted, sometimes leaving our lights in that mode after dark. With some cars, that’s not enough. Depending on your vehicle, your headlights may be dimmer and your taillights may not be on at all. It’s a common driving mistake that’s not always caught in city driving, since there are typically so many other sources of light at night. But on the highway, this could mean the difference between life and death; if your taillights aren't on, you're not visible to other motorists on the road, not to mention the fact that you'll have much less visibility in front of you. So, make the effort and turn the lever one notch up on the left-hand side. Not so hard, is it... Happy Easter and safe journey wherever the road takes you this bank holiday weekend 🤓

A good tip for the cold weather is to give yourself a few extra minutes in the morning to start your car and let it warm up and allow the windows to defrost before setting off on your journey. Some may say that this is only common sense, but i am sure we have all seen many drivers peeking out through a foggy hole in their windsreen while driving along. It is a good idea to let your car run for a few minutes at any time of the year so that the oil in the engine is circulating and getting hot. This is especially good for turbocharged engines and will help prolong the life of your engine by reducing wear of the internal parts. Give yourself extra time, definitely worth a try! Using de-icer will limit the life of your window wipers with the chemicals used in them. Cheers
