Owner and operator of The Little Barkery. I've always had an interest in baking and cooking, my grandmother's shadow as she made her cakes, pies and biscuits and being her helper I always got to lick the spoon.
Today I still love baking, as much as I love dogs and every time I give my dogs a treat, I wonder what exactly is going into them, I see words like 'ash' and 'crude protein' and it worries me, so I decided to study what was good for dogs to eat and combine it with my own baking so I know they're eating something really healthy and good for them.
I source really fresh vegetables, whole-wheat and gluten free flours and vitamins to complement the flavours I bake as well as Fish and Rapeseed oils. Products are tested on all of us at HQ, nothing goes into the bags that we don't taste ourselves and is signed off by the head of Quality Control, Leonard.
I hope your dogs will enjoy my treats as well as Leonard and Norah do because the main ingredient is LOVE, a good solid helping goes into each batch and you can relax knowing that they're getting high quality food with none of the nasty additives.
