YOGA for Students: Was asked today to do a write-up on the benefits of yoga for students. It is my own personal belief that all exam year or college students should be practicing yoga and here are some of the reasons: •Stress reduction •Marked Improvement in sleep •Greater ability to concentrate •Improved desk posture (Indian monks developed the practice to enable them to sit through hours of meditation) •Improved memory •Increased serotonin levels or simply put - it makes you happier 😀 •Lowers Blood pressure •Enhances the immune system Taking the time to clear your mind and work your body will lessen the effects of stress, which in turn can help you perform at a higher level academically.
