A NOTE FOR REFLECTION: I wandered one night out over the brink of eternity.... "Open and let me in," I cried. "'Tis a weary pilgrim, a lost soul.... The life-boat is for the storm-tossed ship, and so is the signal light in the harbor, and this — this is the wreck of a soul crying for the life-line!" The gates swung open. I awoke and went out again into the world of men, and all day I sang at my work.

February... Bending from Heaven, in azure mirth, It kissed the forehead of the Earth, And smiled upon the silent sea, And bade the frozen streams be free, And waked to music all their fountains, And breathed upon the frozen mountains... ~Percy Bysshe Shelley

The former Protestant church in Kilkishen...before and after.. Now known as the Kilkishen Cultural Centre, the venue has been transformed from a derelict building and will be re-invigorated under plans to make it a busy community hub. The centre is to be made available for community, educational and drama groups and for concerts. A place for community once again..

The Old Manor and Salisbury Cathedral ......... Many may ask why i put up photos of Salisbury... it is because of the old Manor Hospital, "In 1921 Samuel Edgar Martin, MB B.Ch., Barrister at Law was appointed Physician Superintendent at Manor Hospital, from St. Andrews Mental Hospital in Northampton. He was born in County Down, Northern Ireland. He looked after patients at both Fisherton Asylum and Laverstock House. He regularly recruited attendants from the Republic of Ireland, especially from Ennis, County Clare area from where new staff arrived to work with family and friends already employed" So the town of Ennis once had a long standing connection with Salisbury and many still do.

A NOTE FOR REFLECTION: How beautiful thy frosty morn, When brilliants gem each feathery thorn! How fair thy cloudless noon! And through the leafless trees, at night, With more than Summer's soften'd light, Shines thy resplendent moon

A NOTE FOR REFLECTION: When scattered clouds are resting on the bosoms of hills, it seems as if one might climb into the heavenly region, earth being so intermixed with sky, and gradually transformed into it

A NOTE FOR REFLECTION: Of winter’s lifeless world each tree Now seems a perfect part; Yet each one holds summer’s secret Deep down within its heart.

A NOTE FOR REFLECTION: Then out through the gates of the midnight— The door of the past was ajar— His robe like a shroud wrapped around him, The Old Year vanished afar. And as morn with her soft rosy fingers Flung open the gates of the East, The New Year looked out from its chambers With a smile and a blessing of peace
