We hope everyone rested up well over the long weekend, coz there's a BIG one ahead! Busy day of matches on Saturday including MHC 2s kicking off their Irish Junior Cup campaign; then on Sunday we have the Junior Club Centenary Blitz & BBQ... ALL WELCOME!

The senior club season is well underway - that means SUBS FOR 2017/2018 ARE NOW DUE. Either pay up front in full, or opt to split the cost into four monthly installments - whatever suits you. Here is the link to our club Easy Payments Plus site: http://bit.ly/1vALJsM As previously flagged, ANY SENIOR CLUB players who have NOT registered to pay their subs for the season by NEXT TUESDAY 31st OCTOBER will be subject to an additional €50 PENALTY FEE. You don't have to pay the full amount by this deadline - you just have to have signed up and paid the first of the four installments. Why? Well, Senior Club subs go towards our pitch rental, coaching, equipment, and insurance costs - so we quite simply need that money incoming to function!

The draw for the second round of the Irish Senior Cup has been made by the IHA - Muckross have drawn Railway, at home in Muckross Park on Saturday 25th November (time TBA) - so , make sure to save that date and come along to support! It being #ThrowbackThursday, we've a great Irish Senior Cup themed memory to share today - Muckross' Fiona Manning and Teresa Hurley celebrating victory over Catholic Institute, in the semi-final of the 1989 competition. It's been one hellova journey - but thanks to the outcome of Oceania Cup results Down Under this morning, Ireland have now OFFICIALLY booked their place in the Hockey World Cup in London next July! ☘️ Ireland haven't had a women's team in the competition since 2002. Congratulations to all of the squad - we could not ask for a greater group of gals representing our sport and our country at the top level 🙌🏻 ROLL ON NEXT SUMMER! 🏑🌎🏆

Exciting news this evening that FIVE Muckross players have been selected on the Leinster U-18s squad for InterPros next month... congratulations to Clodagh Ferry, Grace Keane, Caroline Mathews, Lisa Mulcahy & Natasha Twomey! They'll join Anna Costello & India Cotter, who were selected for the Leinster U-16s squad, in bringing the Muckross Magic to InterPros weekend in Belfast next month!
