Sinead Flynn B Arch Prof Dip Arch Founded in 2015, FLYNN Architects strive to provide an architecture founded on a deep analysis of contemporary client requirements, combined with an awareness of our environmental responsibilities, a fundamentals based approach to building for sustainability, and an innate appreciation of the existing urban and rural surroundings in which we operate.

We understand that we must observe and react to climate, to tradition, to function, to economy and to landscape, in order to produce an architecture that can respond to the demands of modern living in the Ireland of today, but which remains rooted in a deep understanding of the place.

FLYNN Architects was founded in 2015 by Brian Flynn & Sinéad Flynn.

We are delighted to announce that the total money raised by FLYNN Architects for the Simon Open Door Event is €560.00 - We didn't have a large format cheque for the photo opportunity, so we had to get a little creative... Overall, the total raised across Ireland by RIAI registered Architects was €95,000, for a very worthy cause. Our thanks to all of our participants; We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did, and found it useful in thinking about how you live in your homes. We wish you all the best of luck in your respective projects. Our special thanks to McAuley Place , who very kindly donated the use of their facilities for this event, and we would like to extend our gratitude to them for their kind gesture. McAuley Place is a wonderfully integrated facility for all ages, providing a sociable core, community facilites, and older persons housing at the heart of the vibrant community of Naas - A prototype of how to provide this kind of facility in its most suitable location, close to existing facilities and services, and at the same time, injecting life and vigour into the existing town centre. - BF
