James has Diploma in Event Management & PR and in Advertising.
For the past number of years, I have run a marquee event and several smaller events in aid of a designated charity. The selected charity is changed annually to ensure that both local and national charities benefit in equal measure and I have raised a cumulative of €85,000, volunteering part time. In each of the events I have had sole project management responsibility, including budget management, charity endorsements, designing promotional material, logistical support, venue selection, media and marketing campaigns, social networking, soliciting local/national business support, acquisition of permits and accounts.
