We always say that neighbours and community is such an important aspect to Irish life. This truly was witnessed by all that visited us in Tescos in Clarehall this weekend for our fundraiser in Memory of Gavin . The togetherness of Gavin’s school community, his neighbours, his friends and the wider Donaghmede and Clarehall community, highlighted this care and support that exists. Many met there on Friday, having never spoke before and now we finish our weekend of fundraising with many acquaintances which we can talk to and call on in times of need. While it was difficult at times to hold back the tears as we spoke about the reason we were there, it was an honour to be able to be part of something in Gavin’s memory. Holy Trinity School want to thank Erin and Aisling for organising the collection and also we would like to thank everyone who came out to help us over the last three days and all those who contributed. Thanks to all your hard work we have raised €7620.40. Well done all . We are delighted to say the least . Go raibh míle maith agaibh
Our three days of fundraising is now complete! Thanks to everyone who helped out over the last number of days
