Oh what an emotional day today,every year it really gets harder and more emotional .41 children finished preschool today and will be heading off to primary school in Sept, some have been with us since they were 18 months old, and some families have been with us since we opened 11 yrs ago. We are so very lucky with the wonderful children and families that attend our center, We have grown to love each and every child; watching them develop at their own pace and encourage them in their uniqueness, and gave them a sense of belonging. we have had little problem solvers, artists, scientists, chefs, architects,dancers, and more with us in the past yr and we can't wait to see if they will fulfill their ambitions. We really could not run the center without the fantastic team of staff in Glenfields and the Board of Management thank ye so much. Thanks to our wonderful parents for your beautiful words of encouragement, support,and generosity throughout the year we cant wait to see all of the children when they visit us in Sept in their new uniforms xx

Parents please be aware of the following; Please ensure that you put sun block min factor 50 on your child. • Please bring change of clothes for your child as they will be playing with water throughout the day. • Sun hats have to be worn. • We will be sponging down the children throughout the day. • Cool water will be available for all children.

We won.... out of 179 entries we were in top 6,can't put into words how proud I am tonight to be part of Glenfields Community Childcare we won the Lord Mayors Community and Voluntary award for Community Development. Thanks again to the fantastic staff and Board of Management who support each other every day. To our wonderful parents for trusting us to care and educate your beloved 83 children,each day is never the same with our children. They bring fun and laughter into our lives and into our centre. And a special thanks to the eldercare and widow groups that use our centre we hope we have there enthusiasm for life in yrs to come . All excited and so proud that our childcare centre have been shortlisted for the Lord Mayors Community and Voluntary awards tonight in the City Hall. We are where we are today because of our fantastic team of staff, our wonderful Voluntary Board of management and our supportive parents some of are with us since we opened.
