'Gare St Lazare Ireland's production allows Beckett's text to be 'seen and heard' Lois Oppenheim. On stage, there is a gamelan played by multiple players. There is also live singing from tenor Mark Padmore, and live saxophone and violin. The experience is at times orchestral – even Beckett’s text feels like an instrument here – and at times like a dance in which musicians, actors and singer all participate. In short, How It Is (Part 2) is an experience like no other.' - Julie Kelleher, Artistic Director, The Everyman. Don't miss the world premiere of HOW IT IS (PART 2) by Samuel Beckett, a co-production with The Coronet Theatre, in association with The Everyman, previewing tomorrow and Wednesday, with the official opening night on Thursday.
