Congratulations to Chloe Kiely, 4th year BMus student, and her teacher Rob Craig on this fantastic achievement! The international jury meeting for session 2018 took place in Tianjin, China, between 2-4 of March, when the representatives of the three patron organisations (IFCM, ECA-EC and JMI), together with the conductors of the session, selected the best singers from nearly 200 candidates. After many hours of listening to the numerous recordings and evaluating the applicants, the international jury finally chose 64 singers from 33 countries to be part of the World Youth Choir 2018 summer session in China.

Amazing musical duo Niwel Tsumbu - guitar and Eamonn Cagney - World Percussion present a lunchtime concert on Friday 23 March at 1:10 p.m. in the CSM Stack Theatre. Admission is free and all are welcome. This duo are at the cutting edge of cross cultural performance and composition in a spectacular and groove-laden show of consummate musicianship. Unmissable and definitely memorable!! They will also give an open workshop on their music in the CSM Recording Studio at 2:30 pm. This visit is very kindly sponsored by the CIT Arts Office.
