‘The Tips of Her Toes in the Ocean’ contains over 50 stories, associated with Cobh as well as Poetry and is nicely illustrated with relevant photos. Anne McSweeney (nee O’Neill) is a wife, mother and grandmother who was born in Cobh, County Cork.
Anne is married to Tim, ex CPO Irish Naval Service, a native of Skibbereen, County Cork.
They spent their married life in Cobh and raised two sons, Paul and Tim; and have four grandchildren.
Anne, who has a keen interest in the history of her home town has had several articles published over the years in the Cork Holly Bough and other local magazines.
