Yesterday we had the pleasure of guiding Graham from Australia. He never caught a pike before and was looking forward to get one. It took a while, but eventually we got into a few fish. A change of scenery, saw us guiding US visitors Sarah and Andy to their first Brown trout. On light fly tackle even these small but very pretty fish are good fun to catch.

Dave and John enjoyed some good pike fishing on a recent trip with us, with a few low doubles coming to the boat.

What a week so far! Started with two meter+ pike for our German guest in one day, then yesterday was perch hunting day and ended with some 60+ perch in the boat and a new Ireland boat Pb of 42cm. Can it keep going? Pics later.

Today our nice Italian guests Carlo and Massimo accepted the Challenge to try and catch all three species: pike, trout and perch!
