Yesterday was World Mental Health Day, & we're sorry to say that here at Open Table.. we forgot! We forgot this important day, we forgot to acknowledge it & we forgot to raise awareness for it. But this made us realise something. There shouldn't be just one day where we take the time to talk about mental health.. it should be an everyday thing! Mental health is incredibly important & while Ireland is becoming more open to discussing mental health, we still have a long road ahead. To help, each of us should make a promise to smile at a stranger, check in with that childhood friend, support a family members dream! & if you yourself have something going on, talk to somebody. Together - we can make a difference 💛💜
