When you feel down become more aware that you need to change your thinking. Don't force it but gently get those internal feelings and thoughts to calm down - experiment with yoga, meditation, regular walking or a hypnotic CD. Explore these. People then often find their ability to think more clearly increases ...... a rest bite from those down feelings can give hope. Poor sleep feeds into draining our energy, which negatively impacts on motivation which in turn holds us back from breaking out of depressed moods. As it continues we get less restful sleep. Our minds become agitated and our ability to think clearly lessens. Everything appears bad, pointless, without fun. We don't see the good in things just the negative.... things feel like they are happening or done to us rather than something we can influence. Coping with Assault It is a major shock to find yourself the victim of another person’s violent behaviour.
