Meath Chronicle - Bobbett set to earn first cap

Congratulations to Judy Bobbett, now playing with Blackrock, who started her playing career Ashbourne Rugby Club She is part of the Leinster Women's squad who are currently competing in the Interprovincial series. Starting with her grandfather Pat, the Bobbett's are still very much part of the club. Beachy Cup Blitz Balbriggan overcome Boyne in the Cup final and congrats to Balbriggan RFC while a big congrats to Athboy Rfc who played our near neighbours Ratoath RFC Senior Team in the bowl final. Athboy got the upper hand in the end Congrats to all teams and to Ardee Rugby Club who gave the home side a great game in the Plate. Thanks to the 9 referees who attended and ran a great day. Lastly we would also like to thank the Beachy family for their attendance and doing the presentations Lets move on to the McGowan next weekend when Ashbourne, Boyne, Dundalk and Balbriggan will complete to get to the final. Kick off is scheduled for 2pm Dundalk R.F.C (Official)
