Early morning over Mt. Agung today photos taken by Alam Jiwa staff (Nik) who was fishing off the East Bali Coast. In Ubud life carries on as if nothing is happening 35km away at the volcano. Bali airport has been operating normal since 29 November. Afternoon rain clouds freshen up our garden. We feel grateful to be safe where we are and our hearts continue to go out to those villagers within the 10km restricted area of Mt. Agung who have been evacuated to safer zones. Over 100 villagers from Northeast Bali, many with pregnant women or new borns have taken refuge in Nyuhkuning Village close by Alam Indah and are being nurtured by the Bumi Sehat Foundation.🙏 With so much news of natural disasters around the world, we hope this finds you all safe. It is certainly a good time to reflect and appreciate our connection to nature here. We hope Mt. Agung will continue doing what she needs to do gently. Wishing you a peaceful holiday season from Alam Indah Family.😇🙏
