= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Nestled amongst the coco palms and glassy swells of Seminyak, Bali, lives the tropical oasis known as MOTEL MEXICOLA. Put your thinking shoes on and envision the lovechild of 1960s Acapulco and Ricky Ricardo (from "I Love Lucy") on a belly full of Huichole endorsed Peyote and seven lashings of Mezcal. Hopefully you are not thinking of a motel in Miami with an all you can eat buffet?! Rest assured we are not your average Motel and if you want to sleep over, then try your luck. At least until there is some sort of reform on marriage, we propose the sacred union between you "the customer" and us, "the-f$%&-yeah-amazing-antojeria-and-tequileria".
Renowned Veracruzano "Jarocho" chef, Steven Skelly brings his "espirítu salvaje" to the plate and straight into your cake hole. With modern takes on "Comida Mexicana" traditional plates, to modern attacks on humble tasty-as-$%* street food and morsels. This is not to forget the booze and liquor - Nicolaza Que Pasa knows where to add the salt, where to put the tajín and exactly how much limon cabrone. So........ So the menu will be staring proper tacos, proper tostadas, aguachile, quesadillas and other legit antojitos (that's tapas). And it will make all the nachos and grey burritos you’ve ever ate look like the decaying corpse of Hernán Cortés. After one try of our saliva-triggering food you will probably be happy to eat it off the ground! We do.

Ceviche Mixto 🍤 Our traditional Ceviche Veracruz style to be amuse by. You could actually see the lemon and lime juice turning the color of the fish and shrimp from translucent pink to opaque white. It is classically made with shrimp, but we are serving it as a ‘mixto’, shrimp/ prawn and fish with red capsicum, red onion, cucumber, chilli and coriander root, finished with crispy fried shrimp on top!! It's definitely one of our favourites!

The Independence of Mexico was started with the “cry for independence” on the 16th of September 1810, this started the revolt against the Spaniards. In every town throughout Mexico, this public holiday is celebrated with fireworks, fiestas, food, dance and music everything is decorated head to toe in the colors of the Mexican flag, red, white and green. Motel Mexicola will emulate these fiestas by creating a show stopping full venue event which will have you crying “Viva La Independencia”. This stimulating event is a feast for the senses, as all Mexicola parties provided in the past there will be interactive elements, bright lights, left of center entertainment and wild music. Adorn yourself in your best Mexican attire and get down there early, as we know Mexicola fills fast.
KIWI MARTINI - a delicious mix of citrus Vodka, kiwi, rosemary, lemon and soda. Nothing with refresh you more than this combination of fruity, citrus and herbal blend. A definite crowd favourite! 🍸
