Wer sind wir?
Wir sind die Enactus-Hochschulgruppe der WHU. Wir sind im Herbst 2013 entstanden, bestehen aktuell aus 15 Studenten, und sind gerade dabei unser erstes Projekt umzusetzen.
Wir studieren Betriebswirtschaftslehre an der WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in Vallendar bei Koblenz und sind aktuell im ersten und zweiten Jahr unseres Studiums.
Enactus selber ist eine Non-Profit Organisation und heute in über 39 Ländern an über 1.500 Universitäten tätig. Damit gehört Enactus zu den größten internationalen Studierendenorganisationen der Welt.
Enactus–Mitglieder engagieren sich auch in Deutschland - in derzeit rund 100 verschiedenen Projekten. Dabei greifen sie aktuelle Probleme in Gesellschaft, Unternehmen und Umwelt auf. Enactus-Studierende verbessern mit ihrer Arbeit die Welt im Kleinen, sie entwickeln in der Praxis unternehmerisches Denken sowie Handeln und lernen Nachhaltigkeit als Grundprinzip der Wirtschaft kennen. In Deutschland engagieren sich zurzeit Studierende an 41 Hochschulen für Enactus.

The trip to Sicily was a real success for our international project Worldwide! They met people from Oxfam Italy who are really interested in supporting the team on building up a restaurant run by refugees in Catania. Thanks to their cooperation with the local Lutheran church in Sicily there are already lots of highly motivated refugees. Endlich ist es so weit - unser Projekt Vision A hat einen wichtigen ersten Meilenstein mit dem Einpflanzen der Süßkartoffelsetzlinge erreicht. Knapp 3 Hektar werden derzeit in Kooperation mit einem südafrikanischen Farmer bewirtschaftet. Die erste Ernte wird Ende Juli bis Anfang August erwartet. 🌱 #enactus #enactuswhu #mywhu #vision_A
