Silverthorn Symphonic Winds Presents Soiree Concert on Tuesday April 12, 2016 at 7:30 at Wilmar Heights Event Centre

On Thursday, April 7 th at 12 noon, nearly 50 professional musicians will come together to launch their first CD "Snapshots in Sounds", the debut CD album of the Encore Symphonic Concert Band. The concert will provide musical entertainment and inspiration for all ages, including big band swing hits, film score favourites, classical music and military marches. Following the concert we will have a CD Launch party to celebrate the release of Encore Band's first CD in their 30 + year history. Currently, Encore Band has a monthly concert series at Wilmar Heights Event Centre, on the first Thursday of every month. Admission is $10 / person for the concert, tickets at the door. Thanks to James Ramesbottom, Wilmar Heights Event Centre’s administrator, who has been extremely positive about our mission and actively promoted our monthly concerts to the community and local seniors’ organization. Our concerts are well attended by general public and seasoned musicians alike. Our location is wheelchair accessible, elevator accessible, and parking is free.
