30-UP Ballroom & Latin Club is a member-operated non-for-profit ballroom and social club. Dance to an amazing array of modern and older ballroom tunes spun by our incredible DJs - on a stunning, wood sprung floor perfect for dancing all evening long.
We offer regular and themed dance nights on Fridays and Saturdays from 7:30 pm to 12:15 am, a Sunday Tea Dance and Evening Dance, and a Tuesday Tea Dance from 12:00 am to 3:30pm. www.30-up.com
Price
Friday and Saturday Dance evenings are $15 for members and $20 for non-members and include a hot buffet. Pricing may vary on specific theme nights such as Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
The Tuesday Tea Dance is $8 for members and $10 for non-members, with a light snack provided. The Tuesday Tea Dance starts at noon and finishes at 3.30 pm. Those attending the Tea Dance are allowed a ½ hour practice time from 11.30 am to noon.
Membership is $ 50 per year and as well as a reduced cost of dance nights, includes a free dance in your birthday week and a 10% discount at Dance Plus, 2 guests free who have never been to the club before, once a year and 2 free hours a year of practice time.
The Sunday Afternoon Tea Dance, and the Sunday Evening Dance each cost $10 and a light snack is provided. The afternoon Dance is presented by the Sapphire Ballroom Club, and the evening one by Java Dance.

Groups
Groups are always welcome, at special rates. We reserve tables so that the group members can sit together. (Contact Justin White, as above)
Tuesday Tea Dance
Our Tuesday Afternoon Tea Dance offers ballroom and latin dancing every week. A light snack is also served. There is a free line dance lesson the first two Tuesdays of the month.
Dress Code
Dancers are asked to wear dance shoes to protect our floor. Smart Business casual (or better) dress is preferred on Friday and Saturday nights, or dress appropriate to a theme dance.

Join us this weekend to celebrate the Red Fire Monkey King.
2016 is Year of the Fire (Red) Monkey King. The first day of Monkey Year arrive on February 4, 2016 in China Standard Time. The actual Chinese New Year Day of Red Monkey Year is on February 8, 2016. According to Chinese Five Elements Horoscopes, Monkey contains Metal and Water. Metal is connected to gold. Water is connected to wisdom and danger. Therefore, we will deal with more financial events in the year of the Monkey. Monkey is a smart, naughty, wily and vigilant animal. If you want to have good return for your money investment, then you need to outsmart the Monkey. Metal is also connected to the Wind. That implies the status of events will be changing very quickly. We will be celebrating the Year of the Red Fire Monkey this weekend. Haida will be the DJ both Friday and Saturday night with dance hosts Brad & Paul available for all single ladies.
