Aloha Mates, due to some circumstances over the last few weeks we’ve had a great opportunity to really re-evaluate things here at Forgotten Alley!! First off, we’ve heard over the last 1.5 years that while our tiki cocktails are delicious, authentic, & filled with premium spirits, the price that comes with those cocktails isn’t as appealing. So we cut down our tiki cocktail list and reworked the recipes to be able to give the same amount of spirits in the cocktails, but at a MUCH better price! We’ve also brought in a new beer selections for our clientele. Beers like PBR, Rickard’s Red, and a couple more. Next we decided that come spring; believe it or not it’s FINALLY officially coming in a few weeks, we will be starting live music for you on Friday nights!!! The concept that we came up with is pretty cool and here it is: This city OOZES with musical talent, so we want to pair up two random musicians EVERY Friday night to have a two (wo)man jam! The fun and possibilities that could come out of this excites us!! So stay tuned for that kicking off Friday March 23rd. Due to some poor miscommunication of a third party, Pat Nephin, has secured full-time employment elsewhere. We are sad to see him go but when life shuts one door, it often opens another. I will be stepping in on those nights and couldn’t be more thrilled! By working at the Vat for a few-months-shy of 14 years I’ve had the pleasure of having a lot of local talent be the soundtrack to my night’s behind the bar! And with summer right around the corner I couldn’t be more excited to pack our cozy patio and make some cocktails that lead to good times😎 So there’s a little update on what’s been happening at Forgotten Alley these past few weeks. We hope to see you in soon to check out some of the amazing talent that graces our little room. Whether it’s the Open Jam on Thursday’s, the soon-to-be awesome Two Mash Up on Friday’s, or the always busy Saturday night’s that highlight some of Western Canada’s top talent, we hope to see ya soon in the Alley...
