Micah Barnes Having cut his teeth in the cabarets and jazz clubs of Toronto while still a teenager Micah became a well loved singer songwriter on the Queen Street scene before joining The Nylons and touring the world. Recording with the A Capella Pop act brought Micah into the global music scene and landed him in Venice Beach, California where he launched a solo career touring the U.S.which led to his #1 international club hit "Welcome To My Head" and coverage in Rolling Stone Magazine as "an Indie artist to watch". Returning to the jazz oriented songwriting of his earlier years has resulted in a series of critically acclaimed solo recordings including his most recent "Domesticated", which saw Micah returning to tour across Canada solo and with his trio. Micah's new collection "New York Stories" pays homage to the rich musical history of the Big Apple with songs that describe a long distance romance using the rhythms of the Cotton Club, the Brill Building, The Apollo Theatre and classic Broadway. The recordings are stripped down in classic jazz style with Micah at the piano performing live off the floor with his trio featuring Daniel Barnes on drums and Russ Boswell on bass. On this recording The Micah Barnes Trio is joined by special guest Michael Shand on keys and features a duet with the legendary Jackie Richardson. The results are an assured collection of deeply personal and sophisticated songs that remind us that the deepest of musical traditions are always contemporary. http://www.micahbarnes.com/ GENERAL ADMISSION $28 incl fees

The Outside Track A stunning synthesis of virtuosity and energy, The Outside Track's marriage of Canadian, Scottish and Irish music and song has been rapturously received around the world. Hailing from Scotland, Ireland, Cape Breton and Vancouver, its five members are united by a love of traditional music and a commitment to creating new music on its foundation. Using fiddle, accordion, harp, guitar, flute, step-dance and vocals these five virtuosos blend boundless energy with unmistakable joie de vivre. Peter Katz “If you want to make something that’s like nothing you’ve made before, then you have to shake yourself up, go beyond what’s comfortable and known and let yourself feel disoriented, overwhelmed, even intimidated. Those moments, when you lose your bearings, when you’re forced to sink or swim, are the moments when you have an opportunity to rise to the occasion, to surprise yourself, to do the things you didn’t know you could do. That’s what making this album was for me, I’m so proud of the process, and I’m so proud of the result.” The result is ‘We Are The Reckoning’, a striking new collection of 11 original songs from JUNO-nominated and Canadian Screen Award-nominated singer-songwriter and recently crowned Best Male Vocalist in the popular NOW Magazine Best-Of-Toronto reader’s poll (readership of ½ million) Peter Katz. After 3 successful national and international tours in support of his 2012 release ‘Still Mind Still’, Peter spent the better part of the past 2 years writing well-over 50 new songs while collaborating on some of them with an impressive list of co-writers in Los Angeles, London, and at home in Toronto (a new approach for Peter who had always typically written alone). His hard work paid off when he attracted the attention of co-producers Royal Wood (multiple Juno-Award Nominee) and Bill Lefler (Ingrid Michaelson, Cary Brothers), who signed on to help him turn those songs into Peter’s most sonically-rich album to date. http://www.peterkatz.com/ - Cabaret Table Seats are ASSIGNED - GENERAL ADMISSION section includes row seating & balconies General Admission: $25 incl fees Cabaret Table Seats: $30 incl fees
Chloe Charles Even before the release of With Blindfolds On, Chloe Charles’ sophomore orchestral-soul-pop album received accolades with its opening track, Black & White, winning the 2014 Grand Prize in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest and the Lennon Award for Pop. Sparsely orchestrated, yet characteristically lush, the vulnerable song Black & White sets the tone for this album’s labyrinthine soundscape through loss, love and yearning, lust and joie de vivre with her 3 dimensional orchestral romance and a hypnotizing voice reminiscent of Billie Holiday’s sultry poise, Adele’s intensity, the grit of Amy Winehouse and the courage and mischief of Bjork. http://www.chloecharles.com/ - Cabaret Table Seats are ASSIGNED - GENERAL ADMISSION section includes row seating & balconies General Admission: $25 incl fees Cabaret Table Seats: $30 incl fees
