Cedar Down Farm
It's that time of year folks. Sign up to be a member in a Community Shared Agriculture. You may have noticed the amazing veggies that appear in our drive way every Wednesday afternoon from June to November. Members of the Cedar Down Farm CSA commit to the farm by paying an up-front membership fee in the spring, and in turn receive a weekly share of the farm’s fresh produce throughout the season. CSA is a mutually beneficial relationship in which a farm supports the community’s need for fresh, nutritious food, while the commitment of the community supports the farmers and allows them to devote their energy toward farming sustainably. Community support provides the safety net that allows the farm to be sustainable in the long term. Find out more info at www.cedardownfarm.ca or find a local csa in your area.

Had a craving this week for some butter chicken so we made a batch big enough to share. Also The Beefway came through with some yummy corned beef so we have Reubens again made with organic sauerkraut or kimchi and Pine River Swiss.
