6th undercurrents festival: February 10–20, 2016 // Ottawa Fringe Festival //

An open-access festival where 100% of ticket sales belong to the artists. A free market for the performing arts. Programming is selected by a lottery, not curators. Lottery aside, any one is welcome to submit a Bring Your Own Venue show (BYOV) and have equal billing in the Fringe Festival program.

The Fringe has returned more than $1.6 million to artists since 1997.

// undercurrents festival //

Our winter festival shows the best contemporary theatre being created by Ottawa performers and visiting artists.

Since 2011, undercurrents has brought to stage 11 world premieres. Festival partner and founders GCTC hosted from 2011–2014.
