For people with a basic understanding of English, many common phrases and expressions heard in the workplace can be puzzling and can often lead to miscommunication. In this workshop participants will gain confidence in talking to people at work by learning the meaning of common phrases, reviewing proper pronunciation, and practicing their conversation skills. Presented by a certified TESL instructor, participants are invited to bring in documents they’ve had trouble understanding (eg. e-mails or letters). Any adults looking to expand their business communication skills are welcome to attend. Admission is FREE. Tuesday, February 2, 2016 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the Library's Multipurpose Room. For more information or to pre-register call 905-953-5110 Ext. 4770
