Speaking for those who cannot speak for themselves, the Animals The mission of the Medicine Hat Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is to provide protective care for sick, injured, homeless and unwanted animals and to promote humane attitudes and responsible pet ownership.
To accomplish this, there must be acceptance that humans are responsible for the welfare of animals; and there must be an understanding of the physical and behavioral needs of animals.

Puppy and kitten season is upon us! We are in desperate need of formula for both as well as soft food and kibble! Any brand is fine. However, if you are uncertain which to get-we will gladly accept gift cards to any animal store. Thank you from all of us at the SPCA!

My name is Billy, I'm a Border Collie/Mix and I'm 10 months old! I am a high energy dog that loves to go for walks and I have been trained to run on a treadmill which helps to help burn up some of my energy. My favorite things are to play in the snow (very happy to help shovel the sidewalks), play fetch with my tennis ball and cuddle on the couch (or the foot of your bed) I know all my basic commands like sit, shake a paw, lay down, stay and "go in your house" (crate trained). I was raised in a house full of small children but prefer to play with the older ones. I do not like the vacuum cleaner, dinky toys (hot wheels) or hair brushes. I'm looking for my furever home!
