Broadcasting at 88.3FM or CKXU.com from the University of Lethbridge Students' Union; showcasing and promoting cultural diversity in Southern Alberta Lethbridge's only campus/community radio station CKXU 88.3FM broadcasts from a 10 metre tower from a humble 100 Watt transmitter located atop ULSU - University of Lethbridge Students' Union building - 24 hours a day 365 days a year!
The CKXU Radio Society is actively involved in the #Lethbridge community - every day we strive to showcase and promote cultural diversity in #SouthernAlberta with a team of 100+ volunteers.
CKXU is licensed by the CRTC as a campus-community radio station. We stand united with similar small stations across #Canada through our active involvement in the @NCRA - National Campus and Community Radio Association. The students of the University of Lethbridge support CKXU via a student levy (thank you to all of those wonderful students!) that allow us to support a small loyal overworked and underpaid staff.
