1000 Islands Visitor Services is provided by the 1000 Islands Gananoque Chamber of Commerce.
Gananoque is 3 hours from Toronto, 2 hours from Ottawa and 3 hours form Montreal.
We are just 15 minutes from the border crossing into Upper New York State. The town is accessible from Highway #2, the St. Lawrence River or from Highway #401. From the #401 westbound, take exit #645 or #648, travelling eastbound exit at #645 or #647 to reach Gananoque. The Information Centre is located at King St. E. and Park St. next to Town Hall. Public washrooms are available.

The 1000 Islands Chamber of Commerce has moved back into the Visitors Centre, 10 King St. joining the Town of Gananoque, Thousand Islands Accommodation Partners and the Downtown Business Association within one tourism and office complex in order to better serve our visitors as well as our many businesses who depend on the Chamber of Commerce to represent their needs and concerns in the marketplace. Our new Executive is excited about the future of the 1000 Islands Chamber of Commerce and welcomes input from our many members. The Chamber offers many benefits for membership, and as our membership has increased, we are confident that we can serve our visitors and businesses alike, by providing special events, discount programs and networking opportunities to help increase awareness, and ultimately your bottom line.
