Description
CUPE Local 4156 represents approximately 1,700 members who work for the District School Board of Niagara. As a strong and democratic union, CUPE is committed to improving the quality of life for workers in Canada. Women and men working together to form local unions built CUPE. They did so to have a stronger voice – a collective voice – in their workplace and in society as a whole.
CUPE Local 4156 represents approximately 1,700 members who work for the District School Board of Niagara. Our members hold a diversity of jobs, providing a wide range of services for our students and staff. Our members consist of school secretaries, librarians, computer technicians, educational assistants, designated early childhood educators, maintenance and property services staff, caretakers, payroll and purchasing services staff as well as school support staff.
