Good morning! My apologies for this message being so late. It has been a busy week at the hospital working and I accepted a Temporary Part- Time job on Surgery for the summer which starts on June 16, 2017. My availability for this position was handed in on Wednesday night based on days off from swimming. I hope the dates below work for everyone, but if not, let me know and we will try to work something else out. * Those of you who are interested in June lessons after school, please message with some possible dates. I am away June 3- 12, 2017 visiting my brother in British Columbia. I do not have my hospital schedule yet but the availability for after school is usually more open. Weather permitting! * My only vacation this summer will take place July 7- 17 when I go to Alberta for the Stampede. This is why I don't have as many dates in July as I do in August. WOW! I am truly blown away by all the interest for swimming lessons this summer! All these messages from new swimmers who have been referred to me from previous swimmers, or saw the ad yesterday. Thank you everyone for your support and I am excited for another great summer in the pool! I have been in touch with several parents this week, and will start booking after exams are done next Friday. If you do not hear from me by May 1, 2017... PLEASE MESSAGE ME! Attention all Swimmers! I have already received emails from very organized swimmers looking for information on booking lessons for this summer. As many of you know, I resigned from my Permanent Full- time position in the fall to attend school. I am done school for the year on April 21, 2017. Hooray!!! At that time, swimming and summer plans will become my priority. I am currently Casual at the hospital (meaning no scheduled shifts) and I am open to options for booking swimming lessons for this summer. I am looking for feedback on when works best for you based on sports and family vacations etc. I am pondering with the idea of "assigned" teaching days in the pool.. and then leaving the additional days for "on call" with the hospital. What are your thoughts? IF I was to do this, what days would you be most likely to book? Generally, are parents interested in lessons during the Morning? Afternoon? Evening? or Weekends? Last Thursday was my last day of lessons for Summer 2016! I want to thank all my swimmers ranging from 2- 56 years of age. It is so rewarding to watch people who are scared become more comfortable, children who require lifejackets to swim without any floatation device and teach lifesaving skills such as treading to swimmers of all ages. Everyday watching them improve and look up to the patio furniture with a big smile and await the congratulatory remarks from loved ones who are watching. I want to personally congratulate Aiden and Erin for continuing their swimming careers and taking their Bronze Medallion and NLS this summer. These are two of my past swimmers who have fallen in love with the water as much as me and I know you will make fantastic lifeguards and instructors down the road. This summer I taught over 200 swimming lessons and many of these lessons were to new customers. Thanks for the business and I hope to see many of you next summer again! ☀️🏊🏼❤️ Clarissa

It's hard to believe we are approaching the last few weeks of summer!! 😳 What an amazing summer it has been for swimming lessons. Attention swimmers of all ages! I have opened the pool for another season. With the heat this last week- I think we will need it more than previous years. And what better time to learn how to swim than in the hot summer sun. I am asking previous swimmers to please leave a review on this page for others to read. For new swimmers, I teach 5 half hour private lessons for $100. These dates and times are flexible between our combined schedules. I give report cards from the Red Cross.
