If you missed Brooke Johnson's one-woman play "Trudeau Stories" when it was in Collingwood, I highly recommend you take a drive to Theatre Orangeville Feb.15th-Mar.1st to see this great piece of work! This is one of my favourites, and I know that people sometimes avoid it because of the title or what they assume is the subject. This is NOT a political piece, but rather one woman's story about a period in her life when she met Pierre Trudeau, and the friendship they had. It is beautifully written and performed. Perhaps the only problem with it is the name. It is a piece about what people perceive you to be and who you really are behind the scenes. It is very heartfelt and Brooke Johnson is an incredibly talented actor. Take the time to experience this show, and don't worry....you do not have to be a Liberal to enjoy this show! http://www.theatreorangeville.ca/our-shows/trudeau-stories
This is a photo from 2 years ago. The LOVE cabaret was so much fun to do. We are taking a year off from it but plan to bring it back next February. We also have another cabaret booked in for December 2018. This team from Meridian were such super sponsors! Great community spirit and a love for the arts!
