I made just a half batch of cinnamon rolls this morning - come grab one while they are still warm & gooey out of the oven!

It felt like a candles and flowers type of day.....come on in and warm up - it's cozy, smells wonderful and the company is outstanding! 😉

Looks like Mother Nature is sending us a reminder Spring is NOT here today! The weather network is now showing a flash freeze warning for our area after a night of heavy rain - it was to remain above zero until after noon but now they are calling for that dip to begin around 9 a.m. Again, I had to make that tough call @5:00 if it was worth it to send my baker in for 6 to fill the baking display and staff in for the lunch hour and have decided we will let Mother Nature have her wicked way with the freezing rain, let the sanders and salters do their thing and regroup tomorrow. Don't go out if don't have to! We shall remain closed today.

We are back fully in action this week! I have been in a major soup creative mode the last few days - a hearty Tuscan sausage and roasted root veg are 2 of the 7 featured here. Super-Sierra made fudgy gooey brownies - as our sweet friend Sophia Spencer said today "Honestly the best brownie I have ever had!" We have a sweet-tangy wild blueberry gluten-free loaf, decadent chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies as big as your face, our a big jar of our famous ginger molasses cookies!

Our 3-day revised menu for the Frozen in Time event. Lots of fast, tummy warming grab-and-goes! I was in the Cafe all day today with the music cranked and the oven fired up! Everything is freshly prepared from scratch after our 5 day break and the girls and I are ready to go! Hours of operation 7:30-5:30

In case you were planning on popping by this morning, we were officially closed for the holidays yesterday at 5! We will reopen next Thurs. December 28th. at 730.
