The premier destination for live theatre in Brantford and Brant County. Stage 88 is a not for profit Brantford‐based community theatre company.
Beginning with the 2006 Village in the Brantford International Villages Festival Stage 88 has mounted at least one production each year. From 2006 until 2012 these shows were all performed at the Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts.
In 2013 a group of those who had been involved in several of these shows formed a Board of directors for the company with the goal of expanding both the number and the variety of Stage 88 shows.
The 2013‐2014 season consisted of three shows of varying styles: The Whores at the Brantford Arts Block, Calendar Girls at the Sanderson Centre, and Love, Sex and the IRS, a co‐production with Paris Performers at their Paris Fairground venue.
The 2014‐2015 season included August: Osage County at the Sanderson Centre, Love Letters at the Brantford Arts Block and Love, Loss and What I Wore in the Steve & Helen Kun Performance Theatre at Laurier Brant.

AUDITION NOTICE REMINDER! ***THE MOST MASSIVE WOMAN WINS*** Day One of Auditions is complete. Looking forward to Day Two (Tuesday night at 7pm) Please note that all auditioners are asked to be there promptly for 7pm as we would like to have everyone read together. Note the address change as the auditions take place next door to the Brantford Musicians Association. Stage 88 is holding auditions for their next show "The Most Massive Woman Wins" by Madeleine George, directed by Susan Dignan. The performances will be October 13-15th at the Gord Paynter Theatre. When: Sunday June 19th and Tuesday June 21st - 7pm Where: *101 Chatham Street, Arthur Anderson Sports offices (attached to 99 Chatham Street - Brantford Musicians Association) Who: Cast of 4 women ranging in age from late teens and up.
