As the cold weather creeps in it is a cruel reminder that our growing season must come to an end. The Stand is officially closed now for the 2016 season and it is with a very emotional heart that we must say goodbye until Spring 2017. We are very grateful to all of our customers who came in on a regular basis and for all of those who popped in for the first time this year! We are grateful for our new regulars and for those who joined our incredible Food Box program. Without your commitment it would not have been as successful as it was! We also extend a heartfelt thank you to all of the farmers that allowed us to sell their fabulous produce. They make our job look easy. As they struggled through drought and of course the economics of farming, their perseverance and dedication to their profession made our job here a success. Pat and I, along with Paul, Lauren & Matt, Marc & Jessica and Madison want to thank all who shared in our 2016 season. It was wonderful to allow us to help you set your tables and fill your plates with local produce. See you in June 2017! - Jayne

Stuffed Delicata Squash with Chicken Sausage-Mushroom Stuffing | Skinnytaste

Now that the cooler weather is upon us, we're looking for heartier dinner ideas that make use of the fresh fall produce still available. We have all kinds of squash in stock right now, and the best part is, it's one of our lowest food mile varieties. Only 6.5km from farm to our tables! We have Butternut, Buttercup/Kabocha, Acorn, Spaghetti, Sweet Dumpling, Delicata and a new variety that's organically grown, Red Kuri. Exciting new additions for the season. Apples have started!! We currently have Lodi & State Fair varieties. We are having an end of summer clear out on our summer candle scents and preserves. All are 2 for $10, and ou can mix and match between them. All candles and preserves are LOCALLY MADE! #supportlocal :)

Fresh from the farm & now in season... Beets with their tops, cauliflower and Italian Roma tomatoes. The roma tomatoes can be ordered by the bushel for canning! We are also making our salsa baskets 💃🏼
