Answering the Call for Reconcilation On Sunday, February 14th, 2016 Christ Church (Brampton) unanimously passed a motion at a Special Vestry meeting that calls for the Governments of Canada and Ontario to address recommendations detailed in the 2015 Truth and Reconcilation Commission of Canada. Further, the motion calls for the establishment of an inquiry into the issue of missing and murdered Indigenious women and girls. The full motion is in the photo. Boy oh boy I sure hope the weather cooperates & it is not as cold as this past weekend. Just sayin'! AND oh yes this is great cause. Regeneration Community Outreach works right in my neighbourhood & I have personally seen their tremendous effort at helping the homeless & near-homeless that are part of my world. Our Christ Church Team is walking next Saturday in the Coldest Night of Year in support Regeneration Outreach Community. Our team, led by Byron, is made up of members of the parish and 2015/2016 Confirmation Class.
