*** WE ARE HIRING *** We are currently seeking a Field Technician / Graduate Geotechnical Engineer (or equivalent), for an entry level Field Technician position, to complement our current team of skilled soil testers. The role is to conduct field inspection and testing to AS3798 Level 1 and other appropriate Australian standard methods with training provided on the job. The position offered is based on a 12 month contract at our Thomastown facility, with the opportunity to move into a permanent full time role. Overtime will be regularly available with extended hours or weekend work. Success in this role will require you to have the following:- • Hold the appropriate qualifications / experience • Successful completion of year 12 • Some knowledge of the civil construction industry • Capability of working in a physical, high pressure environment • Hold a white card (can be obtained during training) • Hold a Victorian driver’s license. If you consider yourself to be hard working, able to perform quality work, whilst being honest and reliable, we would love to hear from you. Salary commensurate with experience and based on the Manufacturing & Associated Industries and Occupations Award 2010 ref MA000010. On Wednesday 4th May, Parks & Leisure Australia - Vic / Tas Region, hosted the awards of excellence at the RACV Torquay Resort. Our Managing Director Ernie Gmehling and resident agronomist Michelle Dickinson were in attendance. Alongside the host of the evening Sam Lane, Ernie was invited to present the Ground Science sponsored Playspace Award: Major (Projects over $0.5M), with the award going to Valley Reserve Adventure Playspace, City of Monash.
**** WE ARE HIRING **** Due to a recent internal promotion, Ground Science are looking to hire a full time Junior Receptionist to join our friendly team at our Thomastown location. You will be working with a small administration team, supporting professional and technical staff in a modern office environment.
