Came across this App - 'Shared Care' for shared parenting arrangements ... I'm wondering if it might also come in handy for FIFO/shift work families!
Part of the role of the Law Society's Country Practitioner's Committee is to raise awareness with the Law Society, as to legal issues relevant to country citizens, particularly where the country citizen is somehow disadvantaged by the legal process. As a member of that Committee I have been asked to comment on any negative aspects of the Fines Recovery Unit's centralisation to Adelaide. Once upon a time if you had a court fine you could go into the local court registry to make payment arrangements. Now this process is conducted centrally through a call centre in Adelaide. Does anyone have any thoughts/experiences on how this process might have particularly adverse or negative effects upon country residents? Please feel free to comment below.
