Hope everyone is keeping as cool as these guys today! Huge reminder that animals feel the heat just as much as you, so if you are sitting under the aircon today I'm sure your pets will appreciate joining you. If you are unable to bring your animals inside under the air con make sure they have access to plenty of fresh cool water and shade. If you have ice it's good to put in their water to keep it cool and check on them regularly. We can not stress enough DO NOT walk them in this heat or have them travelling on the back of a ute, you may think they will get a cool breeze but the blazing sun is still as hot as what it is standing! Even when it gets cooler in the afternoon PLEASE DO NOT walk them as the ground is still hot and will burn their paws! Exotic birds will enjoy fresh cool water and even a spray to keep them happy! They are tropical animals and not used to our dry heat. Heat stroke can be fatal so please make sure your pets are kept cool today 🐾🐾 :) ☀️🔥 Please share to make everyone aware

Some of you may have noticed David's hair getting longer and curlier recently. The reason for this is to raise money for multiple sclerosis. He will be cutting off his long locks in Feburary, if you would like to make a donation please drop in to the clinic. We will keep everyone updated on the progress and time of the chop!!! You can also donate through the following link http://www.doitforms.org.au/campaign/smalltownmsawareness
