A quick look at us in our new 'home' ....officially launched today - loving life in ThincLab. Learning so much, making progress, and importantly, making new friends.

HELP!! What should we name the Baby?? Although we are known as Test Kitchen, and that name will remain as our Company name, we would like to re-name part of our business that better describes what we do for our customers. And we need your help, please. Can you tell us what resonates with you when you think of who we are (there's a gift for the best name!)? We aim to provide a pleasant social experience, open to anyone, but with a particular focus on mature-aged people. These folks, more than others, may find themselves with a shrinking social circle. For example, maybe an illness has seen us out of action for a while and now getting out of the house is scary? Perhaps there's a desire to be around others but we aren't always brave enough to meet new people or go to a strange place, especially if we're alone? Sometimes, we get so used to our own company we don't notice that we've forgotten how to strike up a conversation, so we stick to talking to the TV instead? Usually, we have our catch-ups over lunch/ tea. This also assists us to get a nutritious meal in the bellies of those who maybe don't like to cook -or can't- or perhaps find it a pain to chase around after food. Sometimes, especially as we get older, we just don't feel like eating anyway- but, if we are surrounded by others and we're having a nice chat, suddenly we will also feel like eating! It's a win-win! So, this is where you're needed: Can you think of a name for us? What springs to mind when you imagine this scenario? If your name (in part or whole) is selected, there will be some homemade treats heading your way to say 'thanks'!! (Closes 4 July 2017; South Australian entries only are eligible) Thanks!

It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to Port Augusta. Our FINAL lunch will be held on Tuesday 11 April, 12 noon at ETSA Bowling Club. $15 per person, 2 course.
